It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willis Day of Canon City, Colorado, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Day and Flora Day; his wife Cleo Day (McColm); his children, Cathleen Goodwin (George), Mitchell Day, Diane Mahlberg (John), Jennifer Burtard (Jerry), Colleen Carroll (Gary), Kevin Day (Gayla) and Judy Sawyer; his grandson Jason Mahlberg; his son-in-law Jerry Burtard; his brother Earl; and his grandchildren, David Goodwin (Trena), Willis Day (Diana), Jamie Mahlberg, Wendy Conley (Tim), Carrie Porter (Zeke), Heidi Bair (Chad), Josh Carroll (Anna), Joe Burtard, Cody Day, Dominic Day (Lora), Jared Burtard, Meagan Kilcoyne (Mike), Casey Day (Stephanie), Kelly Kruis (Zach), Caleb Sawyer (Alli) and Katie Sawyer. He was also cherished by twenty-seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in Willis Day's honor to Sangre de Cristo Hospice.
