He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Meurs and Nellie Meurs (Verhoef). He is survived by: his wife Lois Petty; and his children, David Meurs (Sue) of Connecticut, Jerry Meurs (Lori) of Texas, Mary Prins (Dwayne) of Colorado, Tim Meurs (Carol) of Colorado and Esther Walters (Tom) of Colorado. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
