It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Clawson Sr. of Canon City, Colorado, born in Lagrange, Wyoming, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Clara (Cottrell); his siblings, Judy, Glenda, Harold, Richard and Calvin Patrick; and his grandson Mike.

He is survived by: his children, Valorie, Vernon Jr. and Melissa; his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Crawford; his sisters, Laura Ratliff and Mary Luane Milton (Truman); his sisters-in-law, Jan Patrick and Sarah Clausen; his children, Val Berry (Don), LeAnne Beller, Vern Clawson (Angie) and Missy Porter (Joel); his grandchildren, Andy, Keith, Clint, Chelsie, Reece, Tia, Nate, Jewel, Shayla, Adam, Kara, David, Brittney and Bailey; and his brother Jim Tonn. He is also survived by numerous great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
