It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Marie Bailey of Canon City, Colorado, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Nellie Marie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Nellie Marie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Larson and Alta Larson; her husband Joe Bailey; and her sister Beverly. She is survived by: her sons, Wright, Michael, Joe, Scott and Keith (Dale). She is also survived by her five sons, twenty-six grandchildren, fifty-seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
