It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mable Louise Hammond of Canon City, Colorado, born in Breckenridge, Texas, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mothers, Mary Detrich and Rhea Detrich; her siblings, Betty, Shirley, Bonnie, Helen, Robert, William and Norman; her sons, Fred John Hammond and Michael Dennis Tucker; her grandson Nicholas Tankersley; and her close friend Walter Ruick.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly C'deBaca (Manny); her grandchildren, Tracy Tankersley (Stephen) of Leoti, Vince Spradling (Kelly) of St. Joseph, Scott Spradling of Oswego and Tori Tucker; her great grandchildren, Claire Spradling, Elizabeth Drohman, Amelia and Huxley Styner; her great great grandchildren, Kinzie, Madi and Riggins Drohman; her close friends, Jan Pentecost, Sandy McCoy, Randy Phillips and Sharon Salyer; and her cousins, Gaylen Edwards and Holly Puttman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Saint Jude Hospital.
