He was predeceased by: his parents, John Valdez and Katherine Valdez; his brother William "Billy" Valdez of Salida; and his grandparents, Fred, Mollie Martinez of Colorado Springs, Juan and Amalia Valdez of Salida Co.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan (Sonya) and Stormie Valdez (Kelly); his grandchildren, Deven and Domanik; and his siblings, Barbara Cisneros (Donald), Louise Montelongo (Miguel), Shelly Manzanares (Lionel) and Donald Valdez (Robin).
