John Hernandez Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hernandez Jr. of Canon City, Colorado, who passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna Hernandez; and his children, Robin, Todd, Kelly, Chris, Tracy and Scott. He was also cherished by six children, seventeen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of John Hernandez to St Jude Children's Research Hospital at http://events.stjude.org A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, June 11 at 10 am at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 10th and College, Canon City, CO, with burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
