James DeWitt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James DeWitt of Canon City, Colorado, who passed away on August 6, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewitt and Opal Dewitt (Smith); his siblings, Marvin Dewitt and Maxine Pomisel (Dewitt); and his grandson Nate Smallwood.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Dewitt (Mark), James Jr. Dewitt (DeAnn), Steve Dewitt, Darla Smallwood and Brian Dewitt; his grandchildren, Casey, Candice, Craig, Chantal, Kaedyn, Chad, Stephanie, Lucas and Cory; his great grandchildren, Alivia, Marcus, Heaven, Cole, Thesis, Mordacai, Draven, Phoenix, Dayne, Carah, Lilah, Lexi, Sammi, Gabe, Lizzy and Shadalynn; his great great grandchildren, Ryder and Taysom; and his wife Michele Dewitt (Aguilar). He is also survived by several other friends and family members.
Wearing a face mask is recommended.
