He is survived by: his son Aiden Maestas (Carly); his close friends, Kale Mayberry, Blake Lathrop, Leah Rohman, Christopher, Jennifer, Joshua, Jeremiah and Matthew Harrigan; his mother Julie; his sister Kirsten; his uncles, Scott (Julie), Steve (Marta), Jeff and Russell Crane (Myong Chu); and his cousins, Heidi Leffler Rudnik and Joshua Crane.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aiden's future education.
