He was predeceased by: his sons, Travis and Caleb Merrick. He is survived by: his wife Ilene Gormly; his daughter Kinsey Artfitch; his nieces, Connie and Susan; his nephew Barry; his grandchildren, Sonja, Noah, Ryiah Merrick, Gunnar, Remington, Colton and Weston Artfitch; and his stepgrandsons, Brock and Tyler Artfitch.
