It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole C. Nicholas of Canon City, Colorado, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight Nicholas and Viola Nicholas; and her sister Geraldine Gibbons. She is survived by: her sister Shirley Stratman of Tucson, AZ; her cousin Cheryl Moore; her nieces and nephews, Barbara Schingle (Stratman), Nancy Stratman, Susan Stratman, Christa Naranja (Gibbons), John Stratman and Scott Gibbons; and her close friend Darlene Vernon of California. She is also survived by friends with several of her coworkers.
