Bernard Butler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernard Butler (Canon City, Colorado), born in Florence, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Roy and Mary Lorene McCain Butler; and his siblings, Bernice Faye Butler Britnell and Alvin Leroy Butler. He is survived by: his sister Brenda Smith (Hugh) of Killen, Alabama; his former wife Deloria; his children, Greg Butler (Susan), Jeff Butler, Sharmeyla Roscoe (Robert) and Audrea Butler (Holly); his grandsons, Justin, Nathan, Tyler, Chancey, Chris, Bryce and Carson; and his great grandchildren, Tyson, Makenna, Lexia, Lawrence and Marshall.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holt Family Funeral Home (806 Macon Ave, Cañon City, CO 81212).
Memorial donations may be made to Fremont Regional Hospice.
