He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nivens and Bernice Nivens; his siblings, Virgie, John, George, James and Austin; and his son-in-law John Kerschen (Sherry).

He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley Payne; his wife Earlene O'Maley; his children, Linda Sue Nivens of Roy, Walter Nivens of Puyallup, Donna Aragon (Michael) of Fowler, CO and Bernice Huffman (Lyle) of Potter; and his stepson William Tomaszewski of Kansas. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations are suggested to go to the Campo Quick Response Team.

“I didnt know much of my dad i only have a picture of him with my sister, grandma keeped it a secret cause she new i loved horse she told me and didnt want me to leave her, i really miss my granma. So all i can say is rest in peace hope u had the life u wanted. dont know anything about his extra life, all i can do is give u my sympathy. Walter Nivens”
