He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William G., Emma Kerns, James Harper and Josie Harper; and his nephew Austin Kerns.

He is survived by: his wife Ashlee; his children, Tristan C. Kerns and Caidence M. Kerns; his parents, Tex C. Kerns, Sr. and Kathy Reese (Carl); his siblings, Pebbles Timberman (Robert) and Jesse J. Kerns; his nephews, Tyler Kerns of Leeum Kerns and Easton Kerns; and his niece Birhana Timberman. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
