It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David A. Gordley of Byers, Colorado, born in Peebles, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis M. Gordley and Ruby M. Gordley; his former wife Janice A. Tapparo of Strasburg, CO.; and his siblings, Rod, James, Otis, Jesse and Joyce.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Murray; his daughters, Linda Gentry (James) of Byers, CO and Brenda Rector of Strasburg, CO; his stepsons, Don Murray of Parachute, CO and Matt Murray (April) of Byers, CO; his brother Richard Gordley of Hereford, AZ; his grandchildren, Nathan Bright, Ryan Bright (Phoenix), Becky Matthews (Drew), Brittany Hsieh (Tyler), Corissa Thornton (Andrew), Dalton Rector (Megan), Ethan Rector (Bianca), Frankie Sauer (Alex), Cody Murray, Matthew Murray and Leo Murray; and also Shirley Gunter (Ray) of Byers, CO..
