With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jesse William James Jr. of Burlington, Colorado, born in Boise City, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2024 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse William James Sr. and Flora Mabry Robinson James; and his sisters, Mettie Lee Brown (Charles Brown), Virginia Ozell Kemper (John Kemper) and Rebecca Sue Gruenwald.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy Collins; his daughters, Bonita McManus (Gordon) of Colorado Springs and Donna James Williams of Burlington; his grandchildren, Riley Williams (Ginger) of Deer Trail and Rachel McManus of Lakewood; and his great grandchildren, Declan of Deer Trail and Finnegan of Deer Trail.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home - Burlington (2910 Senter Ave, Burlington, CO 80807). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Burlington (250 Cherry St, Burlington, CO 80807). A burial was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at the Fairview Cemetery (1000 N 15 St, Burlington, CO 80807).
