He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merton Dudley and Georgia Ann Durham (Eubanks); his siblings, Buddy, Harold, Charlie, Sis, Adeline, Elbert, Mildred, Hubert, Melinda, Jerry, Mary Ann and Gary Richard; his wife Wanda Durham; his children, LaWanda Gray (Ernie Gray), Richard Durham (Judy Durham), Lynn Durham (Debbie Gipe), Sandra Mounts (Sam Mounts) and Lisa Rumfelt (Lucas Rumfelt); his grandchildren, Summer (Brian), Jonah, Jade, Crystal (Jason), Chawnta (Isai), Caleb, Sloan, Anthony and Caitlyn; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Ethan, Chad, Cody, Austin, Maycee, Joshua, Jaislynn, Cacen and Eden. He was also cherished by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
