Shirley Marie Starnes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2023, at the age of 88, Shirley Marie Starnes of Brush, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert C Kramer and Marie L. Kramer (Merritt); her siblings, Raymond, Carl, Darlyne Milner and Betty Jean Knott; her sisters-in-law, Jane Kramer and Carol Shafer; her parents-in-law, Ernest R. Starnes and Ina G. Starnes; her grandson Jeremy Ray; and also John Douglas "Doug".
She is survived by: her husband Donald Ray Starnes; her sons, Donald Bradford "Brad" (Mari) of Riley, Kansas, John Douglas "Doug" and Daniel Ray "Danny" (Amal) of Agora Hills, California; her daughter-in-law Patti Igarashi of Danville, California; her grandchildren, Megan Rae Wiemers (Stephen), Dane Bradford Hayley Elizabethh (Valerie), Kaitlin Grace and Connor Douglas; her siblings, Sylvia Ann Kramer of Rainer, Washington, Marilyn Lippert and Gene Kramer of Wray; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Rose (Bill) of San Clemente, Stan Shafer of Wray, Colorado and Bob Starnes (Carol Ann) of Branson. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Bible Society, 1865 Broadway, New York, NY 10023 or to the Yuma United Methodist Church to purchase a stained glass window of Jesus to be placed above the door at the east entrance of the church.
