He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Albert Ewert and Rosie Ewert; his sisters, Delilah Ewert and Ruth; his brother-in-law David Glanzer; and his parents-in-law, W. W. and Nettie Hilderbrand.
He is survived by: his wife Jewel Ewert of Ewert's Clothing Store; his daughters, Cherie Plank and Sandra Bills (Jerry); his grandchildren, Austin Grippin (Amanda), Alexis Bills-Bustillos (Jessica) and Cali Bills; his great grandchild Kai Bills-Bustillos; and his siblings, Amos Ewert (Donna) and Priscilla Applewick (Gene).
Per his wishes there is no service and in leu of flowers and cards the family suggests a donation be given in Rueben's name to the Parkinson's Foundation – http://www.parkinson.org or Rueben said, "Go Roller Skating!!".
