He was predeceased by: his father Fred Swopes. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Swopes; his wife Tammy Atwood; his children, Chad Swopes (Heather), Dalton Swopes (Jessi), Sage James, Kassie Glenn (Kaleb) and Vanessa Knight (Kenny); his sister Sandy Evins (Robert); and his niece Ashley Evins. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
