He was predeceased by: his parents, John Krening and Elizabeth Krening (Huck); his wife Ruth Krening; and his siblings, Ruth Berndt and Elmer Krening.
He is survived by: his children, Arlene Nafziger (Kent) of Grand Island, NE, Larry Krening (Judy) and Karen Chalk (Doug) of Fort Morgan; and his grandchildren, Sarah of Fort Morgan, Rachel of Fort Morgan, Rebekah of Fort Morgan, Adam of Fort Morgan, Matthew Krening of Fort Morgan, Austin of Fort Morgan and Tyler Chalk of Fort Morgan.
