It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Leo Bellender of Brush, Colorado, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Veldonna; his granddaughter Heather Cross; his siblings, Adam Bellender, Rosie Bellender, Mary Bauer, Katie Schwindt, Annie Slater, Gertrude Stratton and Molly Sack; and his parents, Adam Bellender and Katherine Bellender (Bathauer).
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Cross of Byers, CO., Johnny Griess (Robyn) of Ogallala, NE., Janice Rocha (Ed) of Brush, CO. and Pete Jr. Bellender (Tara) of Hoyt, CO; his grandchildren, Chad, Tabitha, Tiffany, Sommer and Skylyn; his great grandchildren, Levi, Asashia, Eddie, Persephoniye, Atreya, Castiel and Ella; and his sisters, Helen Schott, Rosie Price and Virginia Toepfer. He is also survived by three great-great grandchildren.
