He was predeceased by: his father Fred Wahlert. He is survived by: his mother Doris Wahlert (family: Brush, Hillrose); his sister Amy Ely (Michael); his niece Erin Goff (Allen); his nephews, Matthew Ely (Caty) and Christopher Ely (Christine); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cole, Ava, Michael Goff, Emma, Annabelle, Adeline, Leo, Cecilia and Isabelle Ely. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial contributions in Neil's memory may be made to All Saints Church of Eben Ezer, or Rankin Presbyterian Church of Brush.
