Karen Irene Leis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2024, at the age of 80, Karen Irene Leis of Brush, Colorado, born in Fort Morgan, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Homeburg and Mary Homeburg; and her siblings, Lea Ann Homeburg and John Robert Homeburg. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Dwayne Leis; her sister Peggy Baker; her daughters, Tammy Lester (Bill), Jean Hopkin (Randy), Deborah Dilka (Steve) and Heather Kemp (Kenneth); and her grandchildren, Dean, Doug Gordon, Luke, Troy, Adam Hopkin, Stephanie, Bobby, Kevin Dilka, Chrissy Urbanina, Kenli and Kasen Kemp. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Brush Memorial Cemetery (1000 Mill St, Brush, CO 80723).
