She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Hoffman and Katherine Hoffman; her husband John Kalous; and her siblings, Rachel Hoffman, Evelyn Winder, Helen Reiber, Leona Miller, Beverly Moses, James Hoffman, Raymond Hoffman and Herman Hoffman.

She is survived by: her children, Marlene Graff (David), Steve Kalous (Cindy), Dale Kalous (Lynn), Irvin Kalous and Greg Kalous; and her brothers, Leroy Hoffman and Jerald Hoffman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society or to Hospice of the Plains.
