She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Joseph and Mary Jean Gardner; her sister Kathy Spencer; and her daughter Jenny Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Josh Schmidt (Jennifer) and Janie Whitney (Brian); her sister Anita Pomerantz; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob, Seth Whitney, Ashlyn, Morgan Schmidt and Camden Sandberg. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Chaney-Reager Funeral Home and Crematory (443 S 2nd St, Sterling, CO 80751). A burial was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery (4000-4766 Co Rd 18, Merino, CO 80741).
