With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ardenia Ruth Madsen of Brush, Colorado, who passed away on September 28, 2021 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ardenia Ruth Madsen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Foos and Lydia Foos; and her sister Dorothy Rutherford. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald (Berdean) of Glenwood Springs and David of Brush; her husband Ray Madsen of Brush; and her children, Kirk (Krista) of Littleton and Sharon Lessman (Brian) of Windsor, Colorado.. She is also survived by 10 grand children and 14 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Ebenezer Lutheran Care Center of Brush Colorado.

“I am so very sorry to hear of Ardenia's passing. I have such good memories of Ray and Ardenia spending time with my parents over the years. They were always good friends of the Mitchell family. I think my favorite memory of Ardenia was at my parent's 50th Anniversary party when she and Dad danced the jitterbug together. Boy, those two could dance!
