It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Treichel Tj (Broomfield, Colorado), who passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Treichel has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Treichel (Denali). He is survived by: his mother Eileen Treichel; his sister Vanita Wolf; his friend Krista; and his nieces and nephews, Theo, Quentin, Sophia and Connor.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Big Dog Huge Paws dog rescue https://bigdogshugepaws.com or the Boulder County Fallen Officer Fund https://bouldercounty.gov.

“I worked with TJ when he was in patrol at BCSO. He ws a really good guy an incredibly quick, but dry, wit. After that, I would see him at the jail,or at court quite frequently and he always had the same great spirit. He was one of the giod ones and he will be missed. Steve Ainswort”
