He was predeceased by: his wife Erin; his daughter Elizabeth; and his mother Helen Pearl Rimer. He is survived by: his children, Lori Hernandez of Westminster, CO, Kelly Rimer-Surles (Cathy) of Durham, NC and Matthew Rimer of Casper, WY.; his grandchildren, Garrett (Robin), Kate Hernandez Rimer, Mateo, Tomás and Miguel Rimer-Surles; his sister Betty Faye Thorpe of Snowflake, AZ.; his father Elmer Leroy; his family, Erin and Ron; and his pets, Jones and Riley.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Broomfield Commons Cemetery (12801 Sheridan Boulevard, Broomfield, CO 80020).
