He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlyn Gardner and Shirley Gardner; and his sister-in-law Teri Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Deb Gardner (McChesney); his brothers, Bill Gardner (Jennie) and Gene Gardner; his children, Jessica Golden (David), Eli Gardner (Adele) of Bob's and Mary; his stepsons, Abe Pilato (Laura) and Ben Pilato (Nicole); his brothers-in-law, Tom McChesney (Cindy) and Jeff McChesney; and his mother-in-law Esther McChesney.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Heart Association or Risen Savior in memory of Bob Gardner.
