“I was sorry to hear of Paul's death..... I will always remember the elk hunting trip we went on in 1973. We went to Quanella Pass, just above Georgetown, Colorado. We were both into archery hunting then and had similar interests in nature. That trip was the first time I had ever seen elk or coyotes and heard them yelp at night. We were secluded in an aspen grove and had a female deer and her fawn walk within three feet of us. It was a marvelous trip! Paul made it that way.”
