She was predeceased by: her parents, James Garner Smith and Jessie Belle Smith; her husband Wendell Wentz; her daughter Sherry Tucker; and her siblings, R. L. Smith, Doyle Britton Smith and Dolores Buffington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Williams (Scott) and Cindy Leal (Xavier); her grandchildren, James Tucker (Vanessa), Taylor Tucker (Laci), Sienna Sewell, Matthew Leal, Aubrey Sewell and Samantha Leal; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett Tucker, Levi Tucker, Lincoln Tucker, Ryder Barnard and Oakey Ann Tucker. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
