She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Sudbeck and Leonard Sudbeck; and her brother Michael. She is survived by: her husband Dave Fickel of Broomfield, CO; and her siblings, Marguerite Hansen of Omaha, NE, Marcel Sudbeck of Hartington, NE, Cedric (LouAnn Sudbeck) and Stanley (Cheryl Sudbeck). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions are suggested for the American Cancer Society and Cedar Catholic High School in Marilyn's memory.
