She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Carl Walters and Marthan D. Walters (Wilke); and her brother Albert Walters. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Brianna C. Rice and Alexander Lee Rice; and her siblings, Lynne Walters Shah (Sajjad), Carl Walters (Sally) and Michael Walters (Karen).
