He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley Mankin; his children, John Cooper Jr. (Debra), Jeanice Cooper Braun (Fred) and Lisa Cooper Coffey (Michael); his wife Sharon Kay Powell; and his child Khristina Cooper Dean (Michael).
