He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Marks Murphy; and his grandson Joshua Michael Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Lita Leonard (Shawn), Kathy Lucas (Jeff), Mike Murphy (Lori) and Susan Rice (Terry). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
