We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2021, at the age of 74, Jack McGrath of Broomfield, Colorado, born in Buffalo Center, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Michael McGrath. He is survived by: his spouse Terry McGrath; his daughter Lisa Lynn Jones (Christopher) of Ridge Spring, SC; his grandson Kyler Jack "Sparky" Jones; and his siblings, Gene McGrath and Gloria Boggess.

“Jack McGrath provided the foundation for my career. I began programming at a young age, and fortunately for me, when I entered Broomfield High School, Jack was there to teach me so much more, even outside school hours. He helped me get my first programming job. He was willing to help anyone who would help themselves. He was kind, funny, & dedicated. I was proud to be one of his “units,” and enjoyed visiting him while in college. He truly made a difference. He will be missed. Oh, and go Celtics!”

“Hi Terry and Family: I often have wondered how Jack and you were doing, Dave Peketz called me today and we both were crushed to find out. I considered Jack one of my best friends going through High School and wished we would have stayed in touch over the years. This does bring back great memories but very sad to hear.
