He was predeceased by: his siblings, Russell of Fort Worth, TX, Edwina Mann of Springfield, CO, Ruth Johnston of Erie, CO and Lois Sample of San Francisco, CA; and his parents, August Borgmann and Lily Borgmann of Longmont, CO..
He is survived by: his wife Aletha Ann Page; his sons, Bert of Aurora, CO and Bruce (Jan) of Broomfield; his grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew, Justin, Logan and Callie; and his sisters, Martha Hopp of Firestone, CO and Shirley Myers of Center, CO. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Broomfield United Methodist Church where he and Aletha were longtime members, or Rocky Mountain National Park Foundation.
