She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Monroe Loe and Dorothy Deas Loe of Arcadia; and her granddaughter Kelsey Jone Tompkins. She is survived by: her sons, Pendleton Clay Tompkins (Simone), Eric Loe Tompkins (Debi) and Bradley Stuart Tompkins (Catherine); her grandchildren, Hailey (Will Myers), Chase, Kyle, Courtney and Nicole; her great grandchild Evie Myers; and her husband Luther P. Tompkins.
Always believing that "flowers are for the living", any donations in her memory may be made to the Denver Botanical Gardens or St. John's Cathedral, where she will be interred.
