He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Arling and Mary Arling (Servaites). He is survived by: his wife Marianne; his children, Lisa Cadwallader, John Arling and Michael Arling (Jena); and his grandchildren, Neva and Joey Cadwallader. He is also survived by "Pop Pop" to his grandchildren.
