With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrel Mansir Jr. (Broomfield, Colorado), who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Darrel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darrel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Darrel E. Mansir, Sr. of Broomfield, CO; and his sister Martha Gilmore of Mandeville, LA.. He is survived by: his mother Toshiko Mansir of Broomfield, CO; his daughters, Jennifer Garza (Dustin) of Commerce City, CO and Maegen Staples (Josh) of Holyoke, MA; his grandchildren, Manny, Charlie and Sloane; his sister Patricia Coubrough (Mark) of Arvada, CO; and his brother-in-law Larry Gilmore of Thomasville, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Broomfield County Commons Cemetery (12801 Sheridan Boulevard, Broomfield, CO 80020).
