He was predeceased by: his parents, Edvardas Spokas and Felicija Spokas; his siblings, Kestutis, Birute, Vytautas, Vitalija, Ruta, Leontina and Algindas; and his stepsons, Joseph and Vytas Schafer.
He is survived by: his wife Dalia "Dale" Spokas; his stepchildren, John Schafer (Frani), Roman Schafer (Helen), Ruth Beckham (John) and Donna Crock (Eric); and his grandchildren, Patrick, Kevin (Ann), Ryan (Sheri), Timothy (Nikki), Michael (Maria), Matthew Schafer (Dana), Brittany Jones (Dallas), Lauren Buderus (Ryan), Sean Beckham (Abby), Paige Bucci (Zack) and Robert Schafer. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
