Young; his daughter Gretchen "Greta"; his significant other Sofia Perntz; his pet Jasper; his daughter Greta Read; his grandchildren, Ava, Benny and Desi; his stepsons, Chris Upkes (Amy) of Brighton, David Belser of Denver and Charles Belser of Gilroy; his stepgrandchildren, Julia of California, Charles, Jr. of California, Joey of California and Lily of California; his siblings, Ed Stresemann (Crenda) of Florissant, Colorado, Joan Gerber (Pete) of Chula Vista and Jan Striemer (Jürgen) of Portland, Oregon; his siblings-in-law, Gunilla Ewald of Sweden and Carl-Gunnar Perntz (Ewa) of Sweden; and also, Cindy Young of Brighton, Damon Chambers (Nicole), Darrian, Deacon of Greeley and Rosalind Chambers of Brighton. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
