He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Engle and Alyce Eidemiller; and his siblings, Carol, Brenda and Ron.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Rauen (Engle); his stepbrother Jim Boje; and also, Brian Engle (Tawnya), Brad Engle (Kelly) and Brandy (Greg).
