It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Masaru Katayama of Brighton, Colorado, born in Salinas, California, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joe, Jane (Watanabe) and Charlie. He is also survived by his sibling's families, great neighbors and many, many friends.

His family established a successful farm which was taken away from them with the Executive Order 9066.
