She was predeceased by: her husband John D. Kornman; her daughter Kathleen Michelle Kornman; her parents, Lewis B. Smith and Mildred M. Smith (Kniefel); her sister Lavonne "Bonnie" Walker; her brother-in-law Donnie Walker; and her brother Lewis B. Smith, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jean Kornman and Michael Kornman (Keisha); her granddaughter Lauren Kornman; and her sister-in-law Joanne Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
