She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Leon Abeyta and Selestina Morales (Leroy); and her son-in-law Mark Garcia. She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Garcia (Ab Tijerina), Karen Mayfield (Richard) and Christina Villarreal (Ricardo); her grandchildren, Melissa (Matthew Pacheco), Mark Garcia, Tiana Garcia (Michael Pena), Joseph Garcia, Katie Mayfield, Kayla Mayfield (Beverly Mendoza), Karlee Mayfield (Juan Covarrubias), Richard Mayfield (Julia Sloan), Karyssa Mayfield (Tyler Jones), David (Samara Ramirez) and Ricardo Villarreal; and her siblings, Sam Abetya (Shanda), Helen Rodriguez (Ray Romero), Lawrence Abetya (Wendy), Carol Gallegos (Dave), Joe Abetya (Christine) and Kiko Abetya (Estella). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
