It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lazaro Miera (Brighton, Colorado), born in Penasco, New Mexico, who passed away on March 31, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Daniel Miera, Joe Miera, Mary Youngblood, Carol Martinez and Martha Chacon; and his granddaughter Oliva Miera.
He is survived by: his wife Marianna Miera; his children, Gabriel Miera (Vilma) and Roxane Chacon (Juan); and his stepchildren, Tom Castaneda (Debbie), Robert Castaneda, Ken Castaneda (Tonja), Dave Castaneda (Michelle) and DeAnna Castaneda. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
