He was predeceased by: his son Alexander Walter; and his niece Darla Dinkel. He is survived by: his children, Clay Cunningham (Ashley), Buster Cunningham (Maureen) and Kelley Winkle-Bryan (Justin); his wife Shannon; his siblings, Catherine Cray (Kevin), Nance Cunningham (Howard Stein), Marilyn Casey (Jim), Joyce Gerstenberger (Dave Connor) and Skip Cunningham (Joan); his grandchildren, Miles, Zora, Jonah, Luke and Luna; and also, Clell I. Cunningham and Zora L. Cunningham (Killough). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
