He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Sunday Hopkins of Hopkins; and his children, Howard Hammerlund (Zona), Bruce Hammerlund (Debbie), Karen Hammerlund, Lynne Stothoff (Stewart) of Westminister, CO and Carol Johnson (Will). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
